Pyit Taing Htaungs
The Pyit Taing Htaung is a traditional Burmese children's toy that remains upright despite being knocked down. Because of this action, the toy represents perseverance, resilience, and the ability to pick oneself up and never give up.
Pyit Taing Htaung (ပစ်တိုင်းထောင်) literally meaning “each time you throw it, it stands up.”

I started to create my own iterations of these Burmese folk toys, as well as sharing this craft with others through workshops.
I have interest in a variety of Mediums;
Painting, Fashion, Comics, Motion Graphics, Sketching, Ceramics, Multimedia Sculpture.

Team Roxie is the collective that came out of my time at CCA's Studio Forward Fellowship, We shifted from a cohort group into a collective that hopes to focus on building community and access to art and design through community.

A comfortable workshop space where we let our creativity take over our clothing to describe one’s own individual self-expression.
Attendants were able to customize and create things on up-cycled clothing or supplied tote bags.
